National Farm Machinery Show opens in Louisville this week, marking its 60th annual run

A four-day agriculture industry gathering returns to the Kentucky Exposition Center
The National Farm Machinery Show begins Wednesday, Feb. 11, and runs through Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. Organizers describe the 2026 event as the 60th edition of the show, which is scheduled across the facility’s exhibit areas with daily trade show hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern.
Admission to the show floor is free. Parking is offered on-site for a fee, with multiple entry gates in use during the event. A separate Gift & Craft Market is also scheduled daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the second floor of the South Wing.
Scale and expected attendance
The show is promoted as the country’s largest indoor farm show, using more than 1.2 million square feet of indoor exhibit space. Organizers say more than 800 exhibitors are slated to fill the Kentucky Exposition Center, bringing together major equipment lines and service providers for side-by-side product comparisons and hands-on demonstrations.
Attendance expectations center on the same order of magnitude the event has reported for years: roughly 300,000 visitors over the run of the show. In addition to its role as a product showcase, the event has been framed by organizers as a seasonal business meeting point for agribusiness professionals planning for the year ahead.
Programming: equipment, technology and seminars
Exhibit hall activity typically emphasizes newly launched equipment, precision-agriculture tools and other technology aimed at improving field efficiency and operational decision-making. Organizers also list alternative energy information and solutions to current agribusiness challenges among the show’s recurring themes.
Seminars are scheduled to be available at no additional cost to attendees, with program details released by the event as the week progresses.
- Show floor hours: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. (daily)
- Gift & Craft Market: 9 a.m.–6 p.m. (daily)

Championship Tractor Pull runs alongside the trade show
Running in conjunction with the machinery show, the Championship Tractor Pull is scheduled in Freedom Hall at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, with an additional noon performance Saturday. The pull is ticketed separately from the free trade show floor.
The show’s schedule pairs daytime exhibit hall traffic with evening arena programming, effectively extending visitor activity beyond standard trade show hours.
Local economic implications
Event officials have estimated the 2026 show could generate $27.8 million in economic impact for the Louisville area, reflecting hotel stays, dining and other visitor spending tied to one of the city’s largest recurring winter events.
With its anniversary year and a full slate of exhibitors, the 2026 show arrives as both a regional tourism driver and a national meeting point for a farm economy that increasingly blends heavy equipment with data-driven and energy-related technologies.
