A major winter marketplace for boats, RVs and outdoor gear wrapped up Feb. 1

The 2026 Discover Boating Louisville Boat, RV & Sportshow finished its five-day schedule on Sunday, Feb. 1, after running from Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the Kentucky Exposition Center. Organizers have announced the event will return in 2027, following the conclusion of this year’s show.

The annual show occupied a large footprint inside the Expo Center, with organizers describing a floorplan spanning more than 460,000 square feet and featuring more than 550 boats and RVs. The event is positioned as a consumer marketplace where attendees can compare models, talk directly with dealers and exhibitors, and shop accessories tied to boating, camping and outdoor recreation.

What attendees could see and do

In addition to boats and recreational vehicles, the show included product and service exhibitors across marine, camping and outdoor categories. An official exhibitor list published for the 2026 edition included a mix of retailers, marinas, accessory providers and travel-related organizations, reflecting the show’s broader focus beyond vehicle sales.

Interactive and educational features were also part of the program. Publicized attractions for the 2026 show included a children’s catch-and-release trout pond, a paddle sports pool and boat education components. New or highlighted features promoted for this year included a stingray touch tank, archery performances and a dedicated safety-focused area.

Tickets, discounts and venue logistics

Ticketing for the 2026 show set adult admission (ages 13 and older) at $12 for online purchases and $14 at the Expo Center box office. Children 12 and younger were admitted free when accompanied by a paid adult. The show also advertised discounted “after 5 p.m.” admission on Wednesday, Jan. 28, and Thursday, Jan. 29.

The Kentucky Exposition Center is located at 937 Phillips Lane in Louisville, near the junction of Interstates 65 and 264. The venue operates multiple entrance gates around the property to distribute traffic for major events.

Why the show matters for the region

With its concentration of inventory and side-by-side comparison opportunities, the Louisville Boat, RV & Sportshow functions as a midwinter planning point for warm-weather recreation—bringing together boats, RVs, accessories and outdoor activity information in one setting. The show’s return announcement for 2027 signals continued demand for a large-scale, indoor consumer expo focused on regional boating and camping interests.
