A season spanning April through September at Louisville’s outdoor venue

Iroquois Amphitheater has posted its 2026 event calendar, outlining a spring-to-early-fall run that combines free public programming with ticketed concerts by nationally touring acts. The schedule currently lists dates from April 19 through Sept. 22, 2026, reflecting a season built around a mix of classical-pop programming, legacy rock, indie, jazz, and jam-oriented shows.

Free events anchor the spring calendar

The first listings emphasize community access. The calendar opens with “KY Shakespeare in the Parks: The Tempest” on April 19, followed by a Louisville Youth Orchestra performance on April 26. A “Hollywood Classics Under The Stars” program is also listed for May 4 as a free event, continuing the venue’s pattern of pairing ticketed touring stops with civic and education-focused programming.

Ticketed touring acts dominate late spring and summer

The ticketed concert run begins April 29 with Ethel Cain’s “The Willoughby Tucker Forever Tour.” Later spring features Oteil & Friends on May 28. June listings include Lou Gramm with John Waite (June 6) and Little River Band (June 13), marking a stretch oriented toward established rock audiences.

July expands into alternative and indie bookings with Spoon & The Beths (July 1) and “An Evening With Band of Horses and Dinosaur Jr.” (July 22). Queensrÿche with Great White is listed for July 31, indicating continued emphasis on genre variety and multi-artist packages.

Jazz weekend, festival branding, and late-summer touring routes

August includes two consecutive jazz-headlined nights—Boney James (Aug. 7) and Brian Culbertson (Aug. 8)—followed by Andy Grammer (Aug. 11) and The String Cheese Incident (Aug. 13). “Totally Tubular Festival 2026” appears on Aug. 14, signaling a branded touring event rather than a single-artist booking.

September closes with multi-act bills and an alternative rock finale

The September slate includes a three-band package—Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms with support from Spin Doctors—on Sept. 8, followed by Yacht Rock Revue on Sept. 10. The season’s current final listing is Pixies on Sept. 22.

  • Season currently listed: April 19 to Sept. 22, 2026
  • Free events listed: April 19, April 26, May 4
  • Notable multi-act packages: Blues Traveler/Gin Blossoms/Spin Doctors; Band of Horses with Dinosaur Jr.; Queensrÿche with Great White

Programming on the 2026 calendar reflects a deliberate balance between community-facing events and ticketed touring dates, with bookings clustered to support weekend and midweek routing across spring and summer.

The calendar indicates that additional announcements are possible, as several listings reference on-sale dates and the season remains concentrated in the venue’s traditional warm-weather window.
